Barb has lived in Alexandria, Virginia for over 30 years and is considered by clients to be a wealth of knowledge, as well as a big help and inspiration when buying or selling a home. Originally from Syracuse, NY, Barb moved around the world thanks to her dad in the U.S. Army. She graduated from Cazenovia College, worked for a NJ Congressman, and then for the Veterans Affairs Committee.

Barb also held positions with two trade associations, and the biggest defense contractor in VA, Northrup Grumman. The entrepreneurial spirit took over and she started a children's entertainment business (www.letsmakeaface.com) in Alexandria, allowing to interact extensively with local families and understand their needs. Barb additionally founded a local acting business (www.scene-1.com) that brings casting directors, agents, etc. from the professional film and stage communities in NYC to the DC area to work with local actors. Extremely resourceful, business-minded and results-driven, Barb is a valuable resource for all things real estate in and around Alexandria.

Having moved multiple times and owned numerous homes, she is empathetic to her clients, sensitive to their situation, and protective of their best interest. Married for nearly 20 years, Barb and her husband are parents to three sons who attended local public and private schools. She has always been an active volunteer in her community, and is passionate about rescuing dogs.
